Cavitation Reducers were designed to help pre-load the jet drive impeller. Pre-loading the water flow into the impeller will improve your boats hole shot and top end efficiency. Several advantages can come from adding a Cavitation Reducer, better take off for skiing or wakeboarding, gain the ability to run a smaller impeller to improve top end performance without sacrificing bottom end performance, and improve top end speed. Installing an inducer impeller requires your pump shaft to be machined. New pump shafts can be purchased with this machine work done, or Dana Marine can machine your existing shaft.
